Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Program 20 Years

You may not know, but the Kitchen Garden Program started out in a single school back in 2001 at Collingwood College. Since then, the Kitchen Garden Program has grown into a strong and vibrant community. We’re currently inspiring and supporting over 1600 schools and early childhood services across Australia to grow, harvest, prepare and share fresh, seasonal, delicious food. This week is our 20th anniversary – and we’re celebrating. Schools and early childhood services around the country will be getting out in the garden and creative in the kitchen. All the while learning about health and wellbeing, science and sustainability, maths and literacy, and leadership and collaboration.
